comScore, a provider of data they have released the latest data on market share and manufacturing mobile smartphone platforms for the United States. For the regional United States, Samsung ranked top for manufacturing and manufacturing mobile phones for Nokia did not even get into the top 5 list. It is inversely proportional in Indonesia where Nokia still has a big portion for surrounding the mobile phone market.

For market share smartphone platform in the United States, Android climb high enough compared to the 4th quarter of last year, up 7 points to reach 33% and became the first order for the top smartphone platform. Android replace RIM's market share continues its slump lately. What is unique is also re-Microsoft's market share continued to decline despite the new mobile operating system, Windows Phone 7, got many compliments.

Then how about in Indonesia? Until now I have not got a definite data for now, but Nokia seems to still rule in Indonesia, both in terms of market share smartphone platform, and also from the manufacturing side of the phone. However, the movements of Android in Indonesia increasingly widespread with many Android phones cheap and quality that goes into Indonesia such as Samsung and LG Optimus Galaxy Mini Me. I wonder if the growing number of Android phones cheap in Indonesia will be able to shift the position of Nokia at the moment.
